Two short dreams

I dreamed I was attending a live in-person radio broadcast at a local bar. Near where I live, in Jersey City right across from Manhattan, we have WFMU, a freeform station and true radio gem. In the dream they were having some kind of fundraiser in a dimly lit tavern with a distinctive purple hue everyplace. Right behind the bar was a floor-to-ceiling dishwasher. I had smuggled in under my shirt a bag of dirty glasses from my home, and while folks' attention was diverted I jammed them into the half-empty dishwasher. A deejay whom I didn't recognize, thick coke-bottle glasses, came up and asked what I was doing. I told him that I loved the station, but my favorite part about it was that I also got a chance to wash my dirty dishes at their fundraisers. This cracked the guy up and he walked away, shaking his head, and repeating: "The best station that also does your dirty dishes..."

I dreamed I was cooking a mess of raviolis for my son's soccer team. We were in the back of my home, with walls painted a light blue and cream color, a type of strange pasteboard. I was turning the raviolis over and again in the sauce, but then I forgot some ingredient and, without shutting off the stovetop, ran out to the store, leaving the food on the stove with a houseful of kids and parents.
Not a fire safe situation.
