Lights out

I dreamed all the lights went out in North Jersey. All communications, too. The family and I were in a huge Jersey City bus station, a high ceiling of glass. We couldn't tell how far the emergency extended. It reminded me of that massive power outage in Manhattan in the early aughts. The utilities also were not functioning...no water, no natural gas for heat. I gave my son a bucket and told him to go down to the river to fill up the tub so we had some kind of water to work with.
