A box of serpents

I dreamed I was visiting my boss in a darkened apartment with several other coworkers. He had a box with a cage on top, and inside there were several serpents that looked to be part-weasel, part-snake. They hissed horribly and jabbed at me. One got loose and chased me around the room before finally hiding under a couch. My boss tried to calm folks down that they were nothing to be afraid of, but in my gut I knew otherwise, and remained terrified.
