Rematch

I dreamed I had been the referee during a rematch between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. It had happened some years back, but in the dream I did not remember being there until I found myself discussing it while with some random people in a bar. Instead of being a pure boxing match, the rematch was to be a mixed-martial arts affair, which ought to have played to McGregor's strength. They had wanted a completely green ref for the fight, which was why I was selected; although I had taken some boxing ref classes, I knew little of MMA, but they threw me in there nonetheless. Instead of being confined to a ring, the fight began in the street, and carried on through an outdoor dining area, inside a restaurant, and up into a wide service elevator. Finally, and amazingly, Floyd caught McGregor with a triangle choke, and choked him unconscious. The crowd, which by that point consisted of mainly busboys and line cooks from the restaurant, were astonished. I called an end to the action, and pronounced the winner. Then subsequently forgot that I had any part in it at all, until prodded by people in a bar in my dreams.
