The blue asp

I dreamed my daughter had discovered what looked like a worm in the garden, and had brought it into the house. In fact it was a miniature version of the fabled blue asp, a highly venomous, almost turquoise serpent. I told her to get it out of here, but she continued handling it, despite its treacherous nature.

I dreamed a reasonably well-known female cop turned comedian from the city had invented a strange board that had rubber, human hands around the sides. I was almost like a rug that you would throw in the street and then slide along on; somehow the "hands" would facilitate it gliding along like a skateboard, although there were no wheels. We brought it out into the street upon a midnight, bathed in the amber glow of stings of lights draped from the buildings, and tried it out. Although it slid slightly upon laying down on it, it didn't really go anyplace.
*
I dreamed my father challenged me to an arm wrestling contest. We were sitting at a table in my parents' yard. He had gone from being quite dead, over a decade now, to having been found in a very grey and comatose state, where he was put in an institution and wheeled around, to being now up and walking around and back living with my Ma, to now challenging me to arm wrestle and laughing. I had begun to write a long story explaining to people about my dad's strange resurrection, but then I sad forget it, and began arm wrestling with him. I could have won handily, but I dragged it out, the both of us laughing.
