Smuggler's surgery

I dreamed I had accidentally torn open my right hand, and had about $50 worth of bills sewn into the wounds and surgically shut. I was trying to smuggle the money across some sort of boundary line, maybe customs. The wounds, in my thumb and the space between my thumb and forefinger, were throbbing, and I knew the money was in there doing something bad to my body. I eventually managed to get back home and visited a doc, who opened them up and retrieved the money, darkened with blood and all crumped up.
