Monitored by lizards

I dreamed my family was standing, or rather crouching, beneath the boughs of a wide pine tree. The moon shone down. Everything was a muted shade of blue. Beneath the tree and all around the trunk there were monitor lizards, bowling over one another and digging holes in the ground. My daughter kept saying something to the effect of: they're frolicking like bunnies. I fell down in the midst of them, and two lizards began creeping up on me. I shrieked and rolled, knocking them off of me and scrambling to my feet.
